The first Mindful Employer in the US!

Acadia Insurance Employees are the first in the US to award the Mindful Employer Designation to their company.

This award positions them uniquely as an employer who puts people first in their business strategy and practice.

Westbrook, Maine, November 5, 2019 Acadia Insurance Company (Acadia) became the first organization to receive the Mindful Employer Designation, which is an honor awarded by Acadia employees via the Mindful Employer organization and is based on their stringent standards for achieving this recognition.

 

This designation signifies commitment to cultivating purposeful work, leadership engagement, and wellbeing for all. It is awarded based on results from an anonymous employee survey, developed and administered by Mindful Employer.

 

Acadia has historically been considered a quality place to work, with over 90% of employees indicating they would recommend their company as an employer to family and friends. They have continued to raise the bar by earning this designation.
